SolarWinds to Expand Workforce to Support Confio Software Growth
SolarWinds has moved its Boulder, Colorado office to another location to support the growth of its comprehensive database management software business.
SolarWinds (SWI) has moved its operations in Boulder, Colorado to a new location to support growth and accommodate recruiting efforts in the Boulder area.
Announced on Monday, the Austin, Texas-based IT management performance provider said the move — which relocates the headquarters of Confio Software, a company SolarWinds acquired in 2013, to a new office — will become the home to more than 60 employees currently in the Boulder area.
SolarWinds CEO Kevin Thompson told MSPmentor in an interview that the “new office space will support the growth of its comprehensive database management software business as well as accommodate new hires in the Boulder area.”
“The new office location is part of SolarWinds continued commitment to the database management market and support for recruitment,” he said.
Thompson said “there are no plans at this time” to expand SolarWinds into other regions.
N-able Technologies, a remote monitoring and management (RMM) company acquired by SolarWinds in May 2013 for $120 million in cash, will not be affected, Thompson noted.
This news follows the company’s June acquisition of Swedish performance management and website monitoring solutions provider Pingdom.
