BODIE: The Pink Floyd Experience. I swear when I closed my eyes they sounded exactly like the real deal.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: If I closed my eyes hard enough, I, too, could hear the sound of Pink Floyd — from recordings. (PS: Editorial Director Joe Panettieri has seen this band as well…)
BODIE: Man of Steel. This movie has caught some flack, but I really enjoyed the modern version – and I am happy Superman is now wearing is underwear under his suit instead of the outside.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: I still don’t understand how he gets away with it. Glasses on and he’s Clark Kent, but glasses off and he’s Superman. How do they not catch on?
BODIE: Becoming CEO of Claris Networks. It has been a ton of fun combined with hard work growing Claris.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Claris Networks believes cloud computing is the convergence of three technological trends: virtualization, utility computing, and managed services.
BODIE: I somehow missed 24 when it was airing. I’m watching it now and really enjoying it. It’s fun to call out all the technical errors with my wife.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Interesting. I wonder if anyone else enjoys television shows for their technical errors?
BODIE: Nest Thermostats. I can control the climate in my home from anywhere and see how efficient I am compared to the rest of the Nest community.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: That’s one way to stay cool.
BODIE: BlockChain. This app gives me the ability to buy and sell bitcoins from my mobile devices.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Wow. This whole Bitcoin concept just turned my world upside down. Stay tuned.
BODIE: Dashlane. They make keeping passwords secure and manageable a snap.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: I guess managing passwords in Notepad is no longer a viable solution?
