FAULK: The last concert I attended was for a band called the Black Label Society. Not at all my taste in music, but my nephew is the lead drummer in the band!
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Great band. I think I still have a physical copy of their first CD.
FAULK: Star Trek Into Darkness.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: We could probably get all channel CEOs into one room if we hosted a Star Trek convention.
FAULK: Getting involved recently with OpenView Partners. Some of the brightest people I’ve met in the VC space.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: OpenView Venture Partners is based out of Boston, Mass. and invests $5 million to $15 million into technology companies that have $2 million-$20 million in annual sales.
FAULK: Shark Tank. Love to see the entrepreneur creativity, new business ideas and the elevator pitches.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Shark Tank is one of those shows where you need to actually watch an episode before you rush to judgement. The concept alone seems too simple to work, but it does.
FAULK: The incredible shrinking hose. Low tech “gadget” … but cool.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Ah, a gadget I can afford.
FAULK: I can’t remember back that far!
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Neither can I, but then again, I can’t remember last night’s dinner.
FAULK: Look for another job! Retirement is not for me. But maybe a job where I could get my golf handicap back to where it was 10 years ago.
TALKIN CLOUD’s SPIN: Golf is a constant struggle. Man will never beat the game.
