Machine data analytics company Glassbeam has partnered with IT solution provider Mphasis to build a joint solution for enterprise customers. The two companies will collaborate to develop machine data insights to accelerate IT and Internet of Things markets, according to the company.
Through the partnership, Mphasis (which just happens to be owned by Hewlett-Packard) will integrate Glassbeam’s machine data analytics capabilities into its remote management infrastructure to deliver analytics services for its global customer base, according to the press release. Mphasis expects to utilize Glassbeam’s hyperscale SCALAR platform within its own cloud to analyze machine data generated by connected devices and gain insight into enterprise data.
“From our perspective this is a very significant channel partnership because once you partner with a big global SI that has deep seated relationships with big accounts … to leverage that as a channel partnership is huge for our growth. So this is the start of that growth core from a channel perspective for Glassbeam,” said Puneet Pandit, CEO of Glassbeam, in an interview with The VAR Guy. “I think this kind of partnership with Mphasis will cover both markets (IoT and IT) because we fundamentally believe our platform and technology work for both kinds of data centers.”
Last month, Glassbeam received $2 million in additional funding just days after appointing Kumar Malavalli and Sashi Reddi executive positions within the company.
