Green Cloud Technologies, the channel-only cloud provider, is adding Infogressive’s cybersecurity intelligence with its IT solutions to detect and prevent cyberthreats, and to provide a cohesive set of security capabilities.

Infogressive is a provider of around-the-clock cybersecurity technology services. Green Cloud’s 600 partners now have new turnkey offerings with security measures for enterprise-class organizations and SMBs.

John McBride, Green Cloud‘s director of product management, tells us this partnership with Infogressive allows Green Cloud to bring a mature managed security offering to its partners “without the growing pains” of developing a security operations center (SOC) from scratch.

“This gives us the ability to focus on properly training and supporting our partners’ personnel to handle the ever evolving world of cybersecurity threats without distraction,” he said. “This tiered offering will allow our partners the ability to add the best managed-security offering to their current product portfolio and feel confident the solution will be competitive as well as world-class protection that is right-sized for their customers.”

A 2017 Ponemon Institute survey showed that more than 61 percent of SMBs had been breached in the prior 12 months, up from 55 percent in 2016. Green Cloud said Infogressive’s technology and security feature will accelerate its “vision of enabling channel partner’s cybersecurity solutions.”

“This offering will greatly increase the security posture of any partner wanting to get into the cybersecurity market [which should be every MSP given the current state of cybersecurity],” McBride said. “They will be able to offer a solution that many in the space are struggling to adapt to, since they do not have the time, expertise or money to put together a mature, complete and scalable security solution.”

“Regardless of size or industry, businesses today need turnkey cyberthreat detection and response technologies and services,” said Justin Kallhoff, Infogressive’s CEO. “The current threat landscape has shifted this from a luxury for some to a requirement for all.”
