Domo Closes $200 Million at $2 Billion Valuation in Financing Round Led by BlackRock. Domo has closed $200 million in Series D financing at a valuation of $2 billion. BlackRock led the financing round, which also featured participation from Capital Group, Glynn Capital Management and GGV Capital. Domo has secured $450 million in financing to date, and the company said the new capital will fuel its efforts “to meet the growing demand for [its] cloud-based business management platform.”
ZenPayroll Raises $60M Round Led by Google Capital. ZenPayroll, a San Francisco company that offers a cloud-based payroll application, has added $60 million in financing led by Google Capital. In addition, existing investors General Catalyst Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Google Ventures participated in the financing round, which brought ZenPayroll’s total financing to $86.1 million. ZenPayroll launched in 2012 and said it expects to support businesses nationwide by the end of the month.
Hybrid Cloud Migration and Management Leader CliQr Closed $20 Million Series C Funding Round to Fuel Global Expansion. CliQr has raised $20 million in Series C funding led by Polaris Partners, with participation from Foundation Capital, Google Ventures and TransLink Capital. The Series C funding round brings the hybrid cloud management solutions provider’s total funding raised to more than $38 million. CliQr said it will use the new capital to expand its global distribution and support “to meet burgeoning worldwide customer demand for an efficient hybrid cloud platform to manage the entire lifecycle of applications and users on clouds.”

Cloud Security Startup Palerra Adds $17 Million In Series B Financing. Santa Clara, California-based cloud security startup Palerra has secured $17 million in Series B financing, bringing its total funding raised to $25 million. New investor August Capital led the Series B financing round, with participation from current investors Engineering Capital, Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) and Wing Venture Capital. Palerra said it plans to use the financing to increase its sales and marketing efforts and bolster its LORIC threat detection and predictive analytics platform.
Catalyze Snags $4M To Grow Cloud Computing Business For Healthcare. A new U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing revealed Catalyze has added $4 million from investors. Xconomy noted that the Madison, Wisconsin-based healthcare cloud services provider (CSP) used Gener8tor‘s Milwaukee accelerator program in summer 2013 and raised $2 million in Series A financing three months later in a funding round led by Arthur Ventures and Chicago Ventures. This funding round also included participation from the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Gener8tor, Angels on the Water and individual investors.
