Cloud Data Startup Snowflake Lands $45 Million In New Funding, Offers First Product. Snowflake has added $45 million in Series C funding, bringing its total financing to $65 million. The cloud data warehousing company said the funding will support its product development and customer and revenue growth.

Currency Cloud Closes $18 Million Series C Investment. Payment platform provider Currency Cloud has added $18 million in a Series C funding round led by Sapphire VenturesRakuten also participated in the funding round, along with existing investors Anthemis, Atlas Ventures, Notion Capital and XAnge Private Equity. The Series C funding brings Currency Cloud’s total financing to $36 million. 

Redis Labs Closes $15 Million In Series B Funding To Expand Reach To Large Enterprises. Redis Labs has raised $15 million in Series B funding led by Bain Capital Ventures and Carmel Ventures, with participation from Silicon Valley Bank. The cloud database services provider said the new funding will help it market and sell its hybrid database offering.

Frame Raises $10M From Columbus Nova Technology Partners And Bain Capital Ventures To Build The Next Generation Of Personal Computing In The Cloud. Cloud platform provider Frame has secured $10 million in funding from Columbus Nova Technology Partners (CNTP), Bain Capital Ventures and SQN Venture Partners. Frame noted that it will use the funding to expand its technology and grow its leadership, sales and engineering teams.

Cloud Tax Platform Canopy Raises $8 Million. Canopy has raised $8 million in venture capital that it will use to increase its staff and product development efforts, according to AccountingWeb. In addition, Canopy said it will focus on finding ways to ensure tax professionals can use its cloud tax platform to streamline their work tasks.
