Smartvue Raises $15 Million To Fuel Growth And Innovation. Smartvue, a cloud surveillance and Internet of Things Video (IoTV) technology company, has added $15 million in financing. The company secured the financing through funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group (FIG). Smartvue CEO Martin Renkis pointed out that the new financing will help his company “deliver globally scalable and secure video surveillance capture, storage, management and distribution.”

Icertis Raises $6.0M In Series A To Accelerate Growth And Expand The Company’s Leadership. Icertis has closed a $6 million Series A funding round led by Greycroft Partners and Fidelity Growth Partners India. The company, which specializes in contract management lifecycle software in the Microsoft Cloud, noted that the new funding will help it “rapidly scale sales and marketing.” In addition, Icertis said it intends to use the funding to explore ways to enhance its contract lifecycle management product.

dopay Raises $2 Million In Seed Funding. Cloud-based payroll service dopay has secured $2 million in seed funding. ACE & Company, Techstars Ventures and several angel investors provided the funding. dopay said it plans to use the funding to launch its services in Egypt and help drive its expansion into new markets in Africa, India and the Middle East.

Bebaio Closes Initial Seed Funding Round. Boston-based IoT startup Bebaio has received $1.5 million in seed funding. The company, which launched earlier this year, said it plans to use the seed capital to bolster its cloud-based marketing platform. “Bebaio’s core mission is to help businesses tap the extraordinary potential of this Internet of Things with digital marketing tools that increase customer engagement and drive revenue through connected product applications,” Bebaio CEO Bill Rogers said.

Customer Intelligence Startup Cintell Raises $800K In Seed Funding. Cintell has added $800,000 in seed funding provided by angel investor Venkat Janapareddy. The company, which offers a customer intelligence platform, said it will use the funding to accelerate its product development, hiring and user acquisition efforts.
