Cato Networks Secures $20 Million in Series A Round From U.S. Venture Partners and Aspect Ventures. Cato Networks has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by Steve Krausz, general partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), and Theresia Gouw, founder of Aspect Ventures. The network security-as-a-service provider noted that the funding will support its go-to-market strategy.
Lumeta Closes $13 Million in Funding to Fuel Growth and Innovation. Network situational awareness provider Lumeta has secured $13 million in funding. An international investment group completed the funding round. Lumeta said it plans to use the funding to bolster its sales and marketing efforts.
Pendo Raises $11 Million in Series A Financing Led by Battery Ventures. Pendo has added $11 million in a Series A funding round led by Battery Ventures, with participation from Salesforce Ventures and existing seed investors Contour Venture Partners, Core Capital Partners and IDEA Fund Partners. The analytics platform provider said the funding will enable the company to explore new ways to increase its customer acquisitions.
Exostar Raises $10 Million to Expand Healthcare, Life Science Business. Exostar, an identity access management (IAM) and cloud solutions company, has added $10 million from Merck Global Health Innovation Fund (Merck GHI). The company said the new investment will enable it to expand its solutions portfolio.
DirectScale Picks Up $4 Mln Series A. Cloud-based software platform provider DirectScale has secured $4 million in a Series A funding round led by Kickstart Seed Fund and NetSuite (N). DirectScale said the funding will help the company “tackle market challenges around today’s modern direct and social selling businesses.”
