Cloudyn Secures $4M in Series A to Expand Cloud Computing Platform Support. The Tel Aviv-based cloud monitoring company has raised $4 million in financing to expand support for more more cloud computing infrastructure platforms and enhance its offering. Titanium Investments led the Series A funding round, with participation from existing investors RDSeed. This investment brings Cloudyn’s total funding to $5.5 million to date.

Docker Raises $40M in Series C Financing to Drive Open Source Adoption. The San Francisco-based open source platform provider this week said it has secured $40 million from investors for its open-source open container virtualization framework for developers and system administrators to build, ship and run distributed applications. Sequia Capital led the Series C round of financing, with participation from existing investors Benchmark Capital, Greylock Partners, Insight Ventures, Trinity Ventures and Jerry Yang. These additional funds bring the company’s total financing to $66 million to date.

Sentrix Raises $6M for Web Security Development, North America Expansion. Israeli cloud-based security solutions provider Sentrix on Wednesday announced it has secured more than $6 million in financing to continue with development of its website security solutions. The company also announced it has opened its first office in North America.

Ping Identity Secures $35M Funding for Product Innovation, Global Expansion. The cloud-based identity management software provider has secured $35 million in Series G funding, bringing its total financing to date to $110 million. The Denver-based company said it plans to use the additional funds to grow the business as market demand increases for identity security solutions and expand deeper into international markets.

Beyond Verbal Secures $3.3M In Funding And Launches Cloud-Based Wellness API Platform. The cloud-based analytics company this week said it has acquired an additional $3.3 million round of funding led by Winnovation and SingulariTeam, bringing total funds invested in Beyond Verbal to more than $7 million. Beyond Verbal also launched a new cloud-based wellness API.
