AdvanTel Networks Launches UC Cloud Solution
AdvanTel Networks has launched vcCloud, a cloud-based unified communications (UC) solution that enables customers "to take advantage of important business communications without the need to invest in expensive on-premise equipment."
San Jose, California-based technology solutions provider AdvanTel Networks has launched a unified communications (UC) solution that is designed to help customers “take advantage of important business communications without the need to invest in expensive on-premise equipment.”
AdvanTel Networks said its new vcCloud is a cloud-based UC solution that organizations can use to save money and bolster their business communications.
The vcCloud UC solution offers:
Communications support for companies with multiple offices
No upfront costs
Rapid deployment
“With more and more companies looking to cloud-based communications to improve their company’s productivity, it has become essential to be able to provide our customers with cost-effective collaboration tools [that are] necessary to boost business performance and bring added value to their organization,” AdvanTel Networks CEO Dan Ferguson said in a prepared statement. “vcCloud offers an incredible amount of customization and flexibility, allowing customers to continue to focus on operational efficiencies and profitability.”
AdvanTel Networks noted vcCloud is part of a larger portfolio of cloud-based contact center and video solutions that it plans to launch over the next few months.
“We’ve seen a huge increase in demand from executives for cloud applications,” said Chris Atha, AdvanTel Networks’ vice president of sales. “We are excited to offer a comprehensive, cloud-based alternative solution that helps meet the growing present and future needs of our customers.”
Where is the UC market going?
The UC market appears to be going strong, which is reflected in several companies’ recent investments in unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) offerings.
Business collaboration and communications solutions provider Avaya (AV), for example, unveiled new models and enhanced functionality for its turnkey Collaboration Pods in May. The company’s Collaboration Pods for cloud services providers (CSPs) feature both contact center-as-a-service (CCaaS) and UCaaS capabilities.
Arkadin and Thinking Phone Networks are two of the UCaaS providers that have acquired companies this year to strengthen their portfolios as well.
The demand for cloud-based communications services also could drive UCaaS market growth.
Technology research firm MarketsandMarkets pointed out the UCaaS market could be worth $23.34 billion by 2019.
