There’s now a new service provider in the Managed Network Services (MNS) sector and growing Managed Print Services (MPS) sector. Agiliant is officially open for business and is targeting customers looking to optimize their overall network performance, cut cost and improve their infrastructure visibility all through a single vendor.Agiliant was actually established toward the end of 2010 by CEO Gary Stevens. He is also the founder of Print, Inc., a document management infrastructure company that Pitney Bowes acquired in 2006. Stevens and the Agiliant team spent most of 2011 developing the company’s go-to-market strategy: delivering solutions that will add value to businesses and give managed print or managed network service providers an opportunity to enter into a fully integrated IT services market.
Agiliant is founded on the idea that the way IT services are delivered is changing. Converging managed print and managed network services is a solid business strategy because businesses want to deal with a single vendor, according to Agiliant. So the company has developed the Agiliant Affiliate Network (AAF) in order to bring together regional managed service providers that want to provide a full range of IT services.
We’ll try to get a hold of the Agiliant team to learn more about the company’s strategy and its first three products on the market — visibilIT, vitalIT and manageabilIT.
