All Covered Acquires KnowledgeCentrix

Konica Minolta-owned managed services provider (MSP) All Covered has acquired KnowledgeCentrix, an Irvine, Calif.-based full-service IT consulting company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. KnowledgeCentrix has offices in Southern California and an office in Phoenix, Ariz.

KnowledgeCentrix will complement All Covered's offerings with seven core solution practices, including virtualization, unified communications (UC), information worker, business continuity disaster recovery, infrastructure optimization, application delivery and managed services, the companies said.

KnowlegeCentrix President Chris Andreozzi said in a prepared statement that the acquisition will benefit both employees and customers.

"We will now be able to offer our customers a broader selection of technology services to enable their continued business success," he said. "Equally important, KnowledgeCentrix employees will benefit long term from increased opportunities with All Covered and Konica Minolta."

All Covered President Todd Croteau said in a statement that KnowledgeCentrix's background in implementing cloud technology for customers "aligns with our cloud services offerings and allows us to meet the growing demand from customers for cloud-based document storage and sharing."
