Allworx resellers soon will be able to help SMBs expand their phone systems.

The new PX 6/2 Expander adds analog line and station capacity to phones or fax machines running on any Allworx platform. And while the plug-and-play device wont be available until the end of the second quarter, resellers can place their orders now.

The PX 6/2 provides six analog loop-start FXO ports that connect to any central office PSTN service; two analog FXS ports support analog phones or fax machines. SMBs can use up to three expanders at the same time with their 24x, 10x or 6x Allworks systems so they get up to 18 more central office lines per system.

Allworx is a wholly owned subsidiary of PAETEC.
