InfraStruxure Management Software Portfolio 6.2 includes specific updates to InfraStruxure Central Monitoring Suite and InfraStruxure Operations Suite, as well as integration with VMware vSphere 4.1. The aim is provide an open, vendor-neutral platform that can provide data center management needs that don't get in the way of infrastructure design.
Version 6.2 brings with it new network reporting, bi-direction integration with vSphere and one-click configuration of InfarStruxure by automatically importing room shape, equipment placement and cooling dependencies.
Realtime data center monitoring can also probe other management systems, consolidating reporting and providing a single dashboard to easily access the most important information including sensor history, battery snapshots, UPS loads and environmental conditions. Users can also detect and plot what kind of future components and resources they would need to expand their data center, based on existing data and hardware.
