AT&T Partner Exchange Honors GTT, AireSpring, Resellers, Says Goodbye to VP
Hasan started in the position of vice president of Partner Exchange and ecosystem innovation earlier this year.
AT&T honored GTT Communications, Sonic and AireSpring as three of its top reseller partners.
The telco on Friday unveiled award winners for the AT&T Partner Exchange program. GTT, Sonic and AireSpring landed in the “platinum elite” category for driving the highest total new sales revenue. Fifteen partners in total claimed hardware. AT&T gave the awards based on AT&T Partner Exchange sales from January-August of this year.
AT&T changed its awards from last year, adding several technology-specific awards. For example, MetTel and Masergy earned recognition in dedicated internet and Ethernet, respectively.
New award winners on the list are APX, Spirit, Hypercore Networks and Intelletrace.

Drivewyze’s Shiraz Hasan
We wrote earlier this year about the appointment of Shiraz Hasan as AT&T’s vice president of Partner Exchange and ecosystem innovation. He replaced Christopher Roy, who joined EarthLink Internet in February.
However, Hasan has left AT&T and is now working as chief revenue officer at Drivewyze Software
“Earlier this month I wrapped up a very fulfilling and rewarding 18 years at AT&T,” Hasan wrote on LinkedIn. “It has been an amazing journey. I will always be grateful to all the people I got an opportunity to work with and work for. I worked with some amazing leaders and made some lifelong friendships along the way. AT&T will always be part of my life and family.”
AT&T Partner Exchange launched in 2013 and has grown from five reseller members to more than 600.
