Avnet Launches Knowledge Network for North American Partners

Avnet partners looking to expand their expertise on the distributor’s solution portfolio can now utilize the Avnet Knowledge Network, which is being billed as a one-stop shop for reseller training and enablement.

The online community includes all of Avnet’s solution and supplier sales information as well as training for ISVs, MSPs, SI and VAR partners in the United States and Canada. Avnet said the network will help its channel partners to sell more complex multi-vendor solutions and expand their knowledge of vertical solutions to drive additional business opportunities.

The portal is also available for mobile users so partners can get training, learn about solutions and chat with fellow resellers wherever they are located.

“The Knowledge Network is the natural next step in Avnet’s commitment to giving our partners everything they need for success,” said ‎Gavin Miller, vice president of marketing for Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas, in a statement. “Avnet is well known for its talented and knowledgeable subject matter experts, and we lead the way in partner enablement and training – all of which culminate in the Avnet Knowledge Network.”

The Avnet Knowledge Network launched this week during the 2015 Avnet Partner Summit. The network can be accessed immediately using a partner’s Avnet Channel Connection login. Avnet is encouraging partners who don’t have a Channel Connection login to contact the Avnet Security Team for assistance.
