PACE Technical Services Inc. CEO Shael D. Risman says all of his company's decisions revolve around its image.

When it comes to bundling data and backup disaster recovery (BDR) into an offering, one managed services provider (MSP) told MSPmentor that his company does it to protect the integrity of its brand.

“Every decision we make — people we hire, vendors we choose, processes we implement — all of it orbits around ‘The PACE Way,'” PACE Technical Services Inc. CEO Shael D. Risman said in an interview with MSPmentor.

He said PACE’S offering revolves around standardization, a way for him to keep everything in line. “Standardization is the key to efficiency, reliability, and good margin, so including things like backup, routing, and security appliances in our offering makes sense,” Risman said.

“It’s much more desirable for us to train and maintain an expert’s credibility on a small number of excellent products, and the only way we can insist that a client use our solution is by including it in our offer and standing by it,” he said.
