BeQuick Software Adds CABS to OSS QuickTel Platform

BeQuick Software Inc. (Booth 310) announced at COMPTEL PLUS it has added Carrier Access Billing Services (CABS) to its hosted QuickTel OSS platform.

With the new QuickTel CABS, BeQuicks CLEC clients now can be compensated for the use of their network resources.

The service includes a Web-based portal that gives CLECs online access to their billing data 24/7, including the actual bill that is sent to the carrier. The system offers more than 50 standard and industry reports as well as custom reporting capabilities. CLECs also have the ability to make adds, changes and deletions to their billing data without relying on BeQuick. Easy access to their billing data also helps CLECs be more prepared for audits.

Other features available with the service include billing wireless carriers for access, billing for local reciprocal contracts, billing on behalf of multiple companies, and billing on any billing cycle.

QuickTel CABS supports e-billing PDFs or SECAB mechanized format via e-mail, CD or FTP as well as paper billing.

BeQuick provides full conversion services to help CLECs migrate from an existing CABS platform to the QuickTel CABS solution. QuickTel CABS is intended to complement CLECs existing revenue-assurance plan and integrates seamlessly with their existing QuickTel billing and OSS solution.

QuickTel was designed and developed specifically for Tier 3 CLECs. BeQuick owns and manages the necessary infrastructure required to deliver real-time order entry, provisioning, billing and care operations systems.
