Amid two explosions at the Boston Marathon today, the American Red Cross has launched a Safe and Well list (www.RedCross.org/SafeAndWell). The list is "a way for people affected by a disaster to enter information regarding their welfare so family and friends can check their status." Also, Google Person Finder is helping people find each other amid the tragedy. A lengthy list of MSP-oriented technology companies is located in the New England area. Some of those companies were closed today for Patriots' Day. Ongoing coverage about the blasts is available on CNN.com and other major media outlets.
