Cambium Networks has rolled out a partner program focused on health care solutions, with additional benefits to grow revenue while improving patient care with cloud-managed Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

ConnectedPartner is a global program specializing in senior living, assisted care, and health care clinics and facilities. It has enrolled more than 50 VARs and SIs since its debut in last month.

Rad Sethuraman is Cambium Networks’ vice president of product line management.

“Over the past 18 months, we have put a focused effort on expanding into the health care vertical,” he said. “Our solution set was already being deployed in health care: small/medium hospitals, clinics and senior living facilities. We improved our ecosystem solution offering with solutions from vendors like Stanley, Spectralink, Ascom, Vocera and Kloudspot to address emerging communication-and location-based services use cases.”

In addition, the company has recruited and nurtured partners with a health care practice, Sethuraman said.

“Health care use cases for social distancing, patients and critical assets tracking have taken on added importance over the past year with the pandemic,” he said. “Cambium solutions enables these emerging use cases, while making it easy for our partners and customers to deploy and manage a mission critical network.”

Health Care Partners

Partners can qualify as health care partners, Sethuraman said. Cambium Networks also gives them special pricing and protection via deal registration for health care deals. Moreover, there’s special pricing for Wi-Fi, cnMatrix switching and cnMaestro X cloud management.

“We worked with partners who were already selling Cambium solutions into health care,” he said. “We got specific requests from our partners on use cases they are helping customers solve. And they provided us input on ecosystem partners they wanted to see in the Cambium program.”

Automation and zero-touch experiences help partners save money on deployments, Sethuraman said. The deployment team spends less time on site. Furthermore, cloud management makes remote troubleshooting easy, he said.

“The program delivers improved profitability to our partners with higher discounts on hospitality deals,” he said. “The deal registration program helps protect partners who have invested in incubating the deal.”

Bruce Weintraub is CEO of HealthSignals, a North America provider of connectivity solutions for senior living.

“Wi-Fi 6 solutions from Cambium Networks deliver the connectivity we need for residents, staff and guests,” he said  “Centralized management makes it easy for our team to provision, install and monitor connectivity in multiple facilities so that we can improve quality of care, while reducing maintenance costs.”
