Panasonic North America is looking for a new channel chief.

Sheila O’Neil is leaving after 16 years with the electronics company. Her exit comes as part of a reorganization within the business and her desire to do something different.

This is bittersweet for me. Over half of my professional career has been with Panasonic,” O’Neil wrote in a email to colleagues, as quoted by Channelnomics. “Ive learned so much in both my work and personally as well as growing as a person. So many of you have become such good friends and I know that wont change I dont know where Ill end up just yet but I will be taking some time to decompress and enjoy the breather before I step into a new and exciting challenge.”

O’Neil has been actively involved in industry associations, include CompTIA’s vendor advisory board. It’s hard to say how much of an impact her departure will have on Panasonic’s partner program.
