Channel Partner Program Roundup: Blue Coat, RES, Fireglass
Howdy folks! This week we've got the biggest updates from our pals at Blue Coat, RES and Fireglass to satisfy your hankering for channel partner news.
Web security solution provider Blue Coat Systems debuted its Cloud Ready Partner Program earlier this month, which is expected to allow vendors and Security as a Service providers to “deeply integrate and certify their services and cloud applications ” into the Blue Coat Security Platform.
The program is also expected to help customers to more easily integrate and adopt new services into their existing cloud-based infrastructures, according to the announcement. Several of the initial members of the partner program include VMware AirWatch, Box, Dropbox, Exabeam and Symantec.
Digital workspace automation and security provider RES has added new features to its Global Partner Program to help resellers expand their businesses into new markets.
In addition to implementing more flexible marketing co-op funds for partners, RES announced the addition of customized enablement and engagement programs for its top-selling partners. The company also introduced higher margin opportunities as well as a series of education and training programs exclusively available to members.

Cybersecurity provider Fireglass also released its new channel partner program this month, with the goal of helping to introduce the Fireglass Threat Isolation Platform to a wider swath of the enterprise market.
The SPARK Partner Program will include industry standard benefits including discounted pricing, tiered membership levels and referral services, in addition to joint sales and marketing support.
