Interconnection and data center provider Equinix recently added new training and certification programs to its Global Partner Program. The company said the new training and certification initiatives are meant to provide partners with “foundational sales and technical knowledge for Equinix offerings, solutions and differentiation,” according to the announcement.
There are currently two levels of certification available for channel partners. Equinix launched its global partner program in early 2015.
“As a result of our new training and certification programs, partners are able to increase their ability to build a profitable, recurring revenue stream as well as create new offerings for enterprises to re-architect their IT to interconnect people, clouds and data,” said Christopher Rajiah, vice president worldwide channel sales and alliances, Equinix.
Web hosting and managed cloud service provider Liquid Web debuted its new channel partner program earlier this month, which provides the company’s reseller partners with access to sales support and round-the-clock customer service, according to the announcement.
Liquid Web resellers can engage with the company’s partner program in three different ways, including a commission-based Affiliate Program, a traditional Reseller Program and a Solutions Partner Program for MSPs and system integrators.
“Liquid Web’s new partner program will enable companies of all sizes the ability to offer their customers the best service and support for Web hosting,” said Liquid Web CEO Jim Geiger. “The entrepreneurial spirit on which this company is built, coupled with our uncompromising commitment to providing customers with secure and reliable service, is the foundation for the Liquid Web Partner Program, and we’re excited to offer businesses the ability to grow revenue with our suite of products.”
Secure user environment management provider AppSense has expanded and unified its global partner program with the addition of several new features and benefits for resellers. The new program went into effect on March 1 and now offers the same benefits for partners in all geographies, according to the announcement.
AppSense also introduced the AppSense Go+ program, which allows members to receive additional market development funds and rebates based on their annual expectations. Only Gold + and Platinum level partners are eligible for the new designation.
“We see solution providers as vital to our success, and as such we are increasing our investment and commitment to channel partners with a robust partner program designed to grow our mutual opportunities and revenue, in every region,” said Jim Airdo, vice president of Channel, AppSense. “When we can mutually grow profitability, engagement and long-term customer loyalty, we can realize a greater return on our relationships, together.”
