Channel Partner Program Roundup: Insight, AGT, Site24x7

It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time once again for another dose of channel partner news to help keep you up to date on the latest goings on in the industry. This week we’ve gathered stories from Insight Enterprises (NSIT), Applied Global Technologies (AGT) and Site24x7 for your perusal. Let’s dig in.

Insight: The hardware, software and service solutions provider was recently named as a 2014 Microsoft Cloud Licensing Solutions Provider (LSP) Sales Achievement winner for its exceptional sales results in fiscal year 2014. Microsoft (MSFT) announced this year’s winners this week after nominating several companies during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington, D.C. Insight was one of only 11 recipients of this year’s award.

"Cloud computing has become mission-critical in the business world, and the Insight team is honored to be recognized by Microsoft for our work with clients around the globe leveraging the benefits that cloud computing can provide," said Ken Lamneck, Insight president and CEO, in a statement. “This award demonstrates our position as a trusted advisor in providing the best products, services and support to our clients as they embrace the cloud to help operate their businesses more efficiently and effectively.”

Insight was also recognized as a finalist for the 2014 Microsoft Volume Licensing Partner of the Year Award during this year’s conference. The company has been honored in years past with Microsoft awards, including last year’s inaugural 2013 Microsoft Sales Achievement for Transformation award, as well as several Operational Excellence awards.

Applied Global Technologies: The managed and visual collaboration solutions provider announced a strategic partnership this week with Communications Pros, a unified communications and collaboration consultancy focused on pre-sales consulting and end user training, among other services. The agreement will allow Communications Pros to resell Fathom HD, AGT’s advanced video monitoring and management tool, as well as its Encore B2B video-as-a-service offering, according to the company. With its new partnership, Communications Pros' resellers are expected to be able to fully white-label the new services.

“We are excited for the opportunity to partner with Communications Pros, as they offer value-added resellers the ability to quickly sell our managed and cloud video services to their customers,” says Mark Cray, CEO of AGT. “We saw this as the perfect opportunity to grow our partner base and for Communications Pros to expand their impressive existing portfolio. Most importantly, we have a like-minded goal to drive positive change in the ways organizations communicate and this partnership creates a new channel to offer end users simple, affordable and scalable collaboration solutions that are easy to manage.”

Site 24×7: The cloud infrastructure monitoring service launched its new partner program this week, designed to enable cloud, platform and service providers to deliver top-notch website, server and application performance management to their customers. According to Site24x7, its partner program will help resellers to provide customized, expansive and unique services to their customers as the market becomes increasingly more competitive.

“Site24x7’s popularity continues to explode with both DevOps and IT teams, so it was only logical to partner with the leading cloud, platform and service providers to give their customers easier access to our industry-leading APM tools,” said Gibu Mathew, director of Product Management at Site24x7. “Never before has a feature set this powerful been so widely deployed at such a reasonable price, saving customers thousands of dollars and strengthening the product offerings of our partners.”

The new partner program will give providers the ability to deploy low-cost and robust application performance monitoring solutions to their customers, simultaneously simplifying the performance monitoring process and increasing the availability of services deployed in a variety of environments, according to the company. Among the features of the new program, Site24x7’s partners will have access to a web page analyzer, web application monitoring, server monitoring from the cloud and application performance monitoring tools. The starter edition of the program is available for free, with Site24x7 offering paid versions starting at $5 per month.

That’s all the news we have room for this week, folks. Make sure to stop on by next week even more channel news and updates. Have a great weekend, and stay safe.
