Accounts payable and payment automation solution provider MineralTree announced an expansion of its partner program this week designed to meet growing demand for its solutions. The program is expected to help resellers as well as business process outsourcers (BPOs), according to the announcement.
MineralTree has named Colin Toomey as partner development manager, responsible for overseeing the expanded partner program.
“Midsize companies want and need the functionality of an enterprise procure-to-pay solution, but often cannot afford to make this a reality,” said Toomey, in a statement. “MineralTree’s solutions fill a huge technology gap, as simple bill pay solutions cannot handle the complexities of multi-entity businesses and approval workflows.”
Interconnection and data center company Equinix has also expanded its global channel partner program with the addition of new training and certification programs, according to a recent announcement.
The new initiatives are expected to help partners increase their value proposition with Equinix and meet the changing needs of their customers, the company said. Equinix currently offers two levels of certification for technical professionals.
“As a result of our new training and certification programs, partners are able to increase their ability to build a profitable, recurring revenue stream as well as create new offerings for enterprises to re-architect their IT to interconnect people, clouds and data,” said Christopher Rajiah, vice president of Worldwide Channel Sales and Alliances at Equinix. “We look forward to continuing to work closely with our partners to ensure their enterprise customers are able to take maximum advantage of hybrid – and multi-cloud strategies."
Extreme Networks debuted its ExtremeWireless specialization program earlier this month, which is meant to help its reseller network learn additional skills to help them sell the company's wireless solutions.
The program covers the skills needed to obtain the Industry Standard Wireless Certificate (CWTS/CWNA) and awards partners with a specialization badge that is valid for one year. Partners with badges will have access to exclusive content like webinars as a well as discounts and reimbursements for training and wireless demo products, according to the announcement.
"It's important to our company to acknowledge the skills that make our partners unique in delivering differentiated value to customers by utilizing their ExtremeWireless investments," saud Bob Gault, executive vice president of Worldwide Sales, Services and Channels at Extreme Networks. "ExtremeWireless Specialists will further their credibility as trusted advisors committed to delivering the most rewarding end-customer experience."
