CompTIA CHANNELCON — ChatWork, a global business chat app, is launching its first partner program to help partners capitalize on its “goldmine of leads.”
The Global Partner Program will support resellers and VARs by providing them with tools and incentives to better use and sell ChatWork products, according to the company. Its app helps more than 100,000 companies across 205 countries and regions communicate, collaborate and increase productivity in the workplace.
Tomi Brooks, ChatWork’s vice president of growth, tells Channel Partners the program took considerable time, resources and effort to establish, “but we see the investment as a long-term strategy.”
“We launched our partner program (Monday) at CompTIA’s ChannelCon16 and are in active discussions with several potential partners,” he said. “The type of partner we’re looking for includes resellers and VARs who work with businesses of any size in any location, that want to improve team communication and productivity. Our customers are incredibly varied, too. We have the No. 1 market share in Japan and have seen that virally expanding, especially to Southeast Asian countries in which Japanese businesses typically outsource. We’re seeing substantial growth expansion specifically in Taiwan, Vietnam and in English-speaking countries, including the United States, too.”{ad}
All partners start at the gold level to ensure competitive margins immediately and receive pre-qualified sales leads that just need follow-up, ChatWork said. Partners are provided with a free ChatWork business account, along with marketing tools and training. Resellers can also obtain an extra 10 percent jump-start margin for their first 90 days to compensate for the learning curve.
“Right now when a user signs up for a free ChatWork account, they may or may not figure out on their own how to best use the app, how to customize it to best improve their business’ bottom line, etc.,” Brooks said. “The channel will become a key part of our training education and customer service and support team, helping users integrate ChatWork into their businesses. Without the channel, free ChatWork users may drop off of the product altogether, never taking advantage of it to run their businesses at an optimal level, all simply because they don’t understand the platform.”
ChatWork is designed for businesses of all sizes and industries, including those that have multiple offices globally or remote locations. The tool is supported in English, Japanese, Chinese (traditional/simplified Chinese) and Vietnamese.
As an incentive for potential consulting partners, ChatWork is providing a free business account valued at $250 annually.
“As the first business chat application to have a global partner program, we are excited to introduce this program to the reseller community,” said Toshi Yamamoto, ChatWork’s founder and CEO. “Our specialized program is not only designed to help resellers by providing customer leads, free training and product, but it also gives partners one-on-one access to the ChatWork platform and team.”
