Professional services firm Cloud Technology Partners announced the completion of its latest round of funding this week, which garnered an additional $3.5 million in capital from its investors, including Pritzker Group Venture Capital and Oak Investment Partners.
All of the money raised in the company’s B-1 round of funding will go toward scaling Cloud Technology Partners’ sales and delivery capabilities due to successful market growth, said Chris Greendale, CEO and founder of Cloud Technology Partners.
“We have been doubling the number of cloud professionals we hire every year, and we need to increase this level of hiring in order to support the exponential growth in demand for our services,” said Greendale, in a statement. “The good news is that given our position in the market, we have been able to recruit outstanding cloud thought leaders and experienced practitioners.”
Cloud Technology Partners cited growth in excess of 100 percent year over year as the main reason for additional funding. So far, the privately held company has raised $17.4 million since it was founded in 2009.
