Cytracom is doubling down on its commitment and investment in MSPs this year by preparing the next generation of its ControlOne platform and Cytracom partner program. In addition, the organization recently appointed 30-year industry veteran Jim Hamilton to the company as vice president of channel.

Cytracom describes itself as a vehicle for MSPs to make IT work smarter, faster and more secure. It’s the only VoIP, networking and security provider to innovate exclusively for channel partners, the company claims.

John Tippett is COO at Cytracom. MSPs find voice complicated, he said. It generally brings many support requirements mostly around the network.

“When you have a problem with voice calls, it’s always the network. That’s the challenge. When you use our VoIP platform with our ControlOne platform, we automatically detect the devices,” Tippett said. “We automatically prioritize the traffic. We route the traffic all the way back to our data centers. MSPs can literally sell a solution, install it and then walk away. The network just works.”

Partner Program

Cytracom’s partner program will introduce a series of on-demand educational and training resources focused on best practices and business enablement tools. Training will be around marketing, sales and technology. Hamilton will also lead the expansion of Cytracom’s strategic vendor partnerships, further extending the capabilities of the ControlOne platform.

“With the right people, processes and platform in play, MSPs are motivated and better positioned to serve as an essential and trusted advisor to their customers and as an influencer within the global economic ecosystem,” Hamilton said. “2023 will be a defining year for the MSP and Cytracom.”
