Datto Inc., a provider of hardware-based on-site and off-site backup, has revamped its Partner Alliance Program, incorporating new features and tools intended to help channel partners accelerate sales.

The new program uses a point system to place partners into three tiers: Authorized Partner, Certified Partner and Premier Partner. Each tier has its own specific benefits, and partners must accumulate a set amount of points and complete certain training requirements to move up through the tiers.

Partners are awarded points based on the amount of device storage they have purchases through Datto. They can also earn “bonus points” by participating in Datto activities and promotions.

Other components of the new program are a guided virtual tour of Datto’s Partner Portal, new customizable marketing materials, lead sharing opportunities, sales and marketing training, not-for-resale opportunities and website-ready partner badges.

Datto has also released a Partner Welcome Kit for new and existing partners that includes a Partner Quickstart Guide, company overview, service benefits explanation, training opportunities, company policies and more.
