EiQ Networks President and CEO Vijay Basani said MSPs without a team of security analysts in a security operations center (SOC) can leverage EiQ SOCVue, enabling MSPs to offer remote management services for advanced security services such as SEIM.

Security, risk, and compliance vendor EiQ Networks has announced a SOCVue a remotely managed security information and event management (SIEM) and log management solution. The company said SOCVue provides a line of defense against cyber atttacks and advanced persistent threats (APTs). What else does SOCVue offer MSPs? We'll reveal the details.

SOCVue also assists with meeting regulatory mandates such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, etc. According to the company, the solution offer the following:

  • 24×7 monitoring of a customer’s IT environment for suspicious activity, incident detection and notifications from EiQ’s SOC team;

  • Management and maintenance of the SecureVue application deployed on customer’s premises;

  • Regular review and advice on an organization’s security and compliance posture;

  • On-demand investigative analysis;

  • Delivery of compliance reports;

  • And on-premise SecureVue deployment coupled with remote management service assures sensitive log and event data does not leave an organization’s premises.

"SOCVue allows MSPs to leverage EiQ’s experience in security monitoring and continuous monitoring by leveraging not only EiQ’s SecureVue technology, but also leveraging EiQ SOC analysts to deliver cost-effective managed services," said EiQ Networks President and CEO Vijay Basani (pictured) in an email to MSPmentor.

EiQ works with MSPs in multiple ways

Basani said MSPs can work with EiQ in a few ways: put to use the EiQ SecureVue platform to remotely manage customer environments; deploy the company's platform for to offer performance monitoring, flow analysis, security configuration management, and compliance reporting services; and partner with EIQ to offer SOCVue to end customers.
