Endeavor Telecom Grows Its VoIP Business

Endeavor Telecom has made an investment to expand its VoIP professional service offerings and accelerate the companys overall growth.
The companys wholesale professional services business – North American field installations/dispatches, order fulfillment logistics and operations support — has increased within the past year, due in part to expanding demand for VoIP technology across enterprise and residential markets, according to the company. Endeavors existing private equity investors have provided additional capital to expand the capabilities needed to accelerate Endeavors growth.
New enhancements to its VoIP offerings include an account management group for enterprise and residential VoIP installations; a sales engineering group for enterprise VoIP installations and network assessments; and several outside business development staff to pursue engagements with companies providing VoIP service and hardware.
Endeavor also is enhancing its overall business capabilities by quadrupling its recruiting and training organization for its field technician force; expanding its training programs and quality audits for all field technicians, including contractors; adding IT staff to enhance the Endeavor Service Portal, which is used for the auto-scheduling of installations by service provider customers; delivering a new warehouse management system; increasing its truck fleets in major markets to support an existing 350 direct field engineers and 9,000-plus subcontractors; expanding the companys Technical Access Center by more than 50 percent; and adding staff in operations departments for scheduling, technician support and quality assurance.
The company expects to more than double the size of its service provisioning and delivery capabilities within the next year, said Justin McLain, Endeavors executive vice president.
