Friday's Last Word: CTERA Networks CEO Liran Eshel — Who exactly is he?

CTERA Networks CEO Liran Eshel founded the cloud-based storage services platform provider in 2008 to address the storage, data protection and collaboration needs of business users.

Prior to founding CTERA, Eschel was CEO of SofaWare Technologies, which was acquired by Check Point Software Technologies. Before that, Liran served as an officer in a tech unit of the Israel Defense Forces.

What's are his plans for the company for the rest of this year?

His theme for the rest of this year: expand CTERA Networks on all fronts. "We're growing our R&D team, our sales and marketing teams in North America and Europe, and our support organization. Also several major initiatives product-wise that will be announced later this year — watch this space," he says.
