Friday's Last Word: Jitterbit CEO George Gallegos — Who exactly is he?

Jitterbit CEO George Gallegos was appointed to the open source integration software provider in 2011. Prior to Jitterbit, Gallegos was most recently a founding member of C3, a Tom Siebel venture focused on energy and carbon management.

Before C3, he was vice president of worldwide sales at Cast Iron Systems, where he led its global field operations for the integration appliance vendor. He was a regional vice president at Oracle, where he focused on CRM applications for Oracle’s top 250 accounts. Prior to Oracle, he spent eight years at Siebel Systems, where he served as regional vice president.

What's are his plans for the company for the rest of this year?

"The second half of 2014 will be the biggest in company history at Jitterbit," he says. He says Jitterbit will continue using the cloud to simpify integration. Jitterbit plans to do this through additional real-time APIs and new strategic partnerships with Salesforce.com.
