Two strategic channel partnerships are expected to enhance partner and customer access to the latest technology, including cloud-based services.

Green Cloud Technologies, a Greenville, South Carolina-based cloud-services provider, has partnered with X4 Solutions, the Chicago-based master agent. The alliance will expand X4’s product portfolio with Green Cloud’s cloud-based IT solutions.

Also, KEMP Technologies, a New York-based virtual load-balancer software provider, has become a certified technology partner in Dell’s Technology Partner Program. Dell’s program helps ISVs, hardware vendors and solution providers to build innovative and competitive solutions using its platforms.

Partners of X4 initially will offer Green Cloud’s disaster-recovery and virtual-server solutions. Green Cloud, which sells only through the channel, was founded by industry veterans who served in senior executive positions with multiple communications organizations.

“Dan Sterling (Green Cloud’s president) and I have known each other for a long time and I am very excited to get a chance to ‘attack’ this marketplace with the entire Green Cloud team,” said Curt Allen, X4’s president. “With our addition of cloud practice as a service (CPaaS), we are delivering subject matter expertise to assist our partners in identifying, designing and closing cloud opportunities. Green Cloud’s DRaaS solutions will be central to that effort. We look forward to announcing significant customer acquisitions in the very near future.”

X4 began rolling out Green Cloud’s disaster-recovery product this week. X4 has more than 70 carriers and 300 data centers worldwide, as well as multiple cloud-service providers.

“X4 is one of the strongest master agents in the country and the ideal partner for Green Cloud,” Sterling said. “With their commitment to providing their channel partners with the best solutions in the industry, X4 is positioned as a cloud-services leader in addition to their well-established position in the telecommunications field.”

KEMP’s certification in Dell’s Technology Partner Program enables customers to benefit from what KEMP says is a competitive price/performance ratio in load balancing and high availability, coupled with the flexibility of Dell PowerEdge servers. KEMP’s software approach aims to help companies migrate to converged infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions powered by Dell.

KEMP can now incorporate load balancing on Dell hardware for improved …

… performance and throughput.

“By running the KEMP LoadMaster on Dell PowerEdge servers, customers can implement load balancing and high availability for their critical applications while maintaining maximum flexibility to manage and deploy ever-changing and growing application workloads,” said Jeff Fisher, KEMP’s vice president of strategic alliances.

KEMP’s load-balancing software can be deployed directly on Dell servers, including the latest Dell PowerEdge 13th generation servers. This enables customers to achieve greater levels of throughput by leveraging high-performance Dell PowerEdge server configurations.

Dell announced its Technology Partner Program in 2013 and since then has gained 220 technology partners.

The Dell channel program allows partners to test their products on the computer giant’s platforms. It enables customers to choose certified solutions from technology partners in various industries, with products and services ranging from tablets to sophisticated enterprise solutions.
