The VAR Guy is gearing up for a busy week in the Orlando, Florida, area. He’ll be stopping by VoiceCon on April 1 and Ingram Micro VTN on April 2. But here’s the big question: If The VAR Guy finds a few hours to sneak to an area theme park — which one should he visit? Before you answer, consider these world-class options.
1. The Magic Kingdom: Still The VAR Guy’s favorite. But visiting Main Street U.S.A. wouldn’t be the same without his family.
2. Epcot: Assuming you don’t lose your lunch on Mission Space, that ride is worth the price of admission.
3. Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Formerly Disney-MGM Studios. Aerosmith’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and The Tower of Terror are two of Orlando’s top thrill rides.
4. Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Move along. Other than Expedition Everest, nothing to see here.
5. Universal’s Island of Adventure: Probably the best park in town for the really, really big kid in everyone.
6. Universal Studios: Not on The VAR Guy’s preferred list of destinations — until The Simpson’s Ride arrived.
So what’s it gonna be? The VAR Guy is leaning toward Epcot as a nice change of pace. But he’s open to other ideas…
