Blue Ocean
The books "Blue Ocean Strategy" and "Blue Ocean Shift" help companies differentiate themselves and stand apart from the competition. Keynote speaker and author Renee Mauborgne talked about how companies can create new markets to compete. She co-authored the books with W. Chan Kim.
Technology Solutions Showcase
The Technology Solutions Showcase floor featured five sections: Server, Storage, Power/Backup and IaaS; Cloud Collaboration, Physical Security and Pro AV; Networking, Security, SaaS and Wireless; IoT, DCPOS and Printing/Scanning; and Cloud-Managed and Integrated Solutions.
It's Time to Get Started in IoT
IoT was a popular topic at the conference and was addressed on the main stage by Eric Hembree, director of IoT at Ingram Micro. Hembree told partners that the time for IoT is now. "You don't have to become an expert on all things IoT before you get started," he said. Partners just need to take the first step.
VR Meditation Experience
Under the Microsoft/Intel dome on the Solutions Showcase floor, attendees stepped into a virtual reality meditation experience called Serenity Lake.
IBM and Red Hat
IBM and Red Hat showed up together on the Solutions Showcase floor less that five months since the $34 billion acquisition closed. There's a lot for partners to learn about the opportunities that the deal means to them — like the IBM Cloud Paks, the vendor's strategy to move more than 100 products from its software portfolio to be cloud native and optimized to run on Red Hat OpenShift.
Microsoft/Intel Dome
Microsoft, Intel and technology partners Dell, HP, HPE and Lenovo all showed up under the dome to "Prepare for Launch." Ingram Micro wants partners to get what's theirs by learning more about the recently launched Intel Technology Provider program and the team resources available to help partners close deals.
As-a-Service Cafe
The cafe was serving up demos and and a collaborative experience for partners to learn how a solution order can be integrated into their business. Vendor partners included Axis, elo, ergotron, Fortinet, Honeywell, Lenovo and LG.
SMB Alliance
Through Ingram Micro's SMB Alliance, partners build business relationships and friendships.These dedicated Ingram Micro partners also get access to Ingram Micro resources and group meet-ups to discuss business building and more,
Wings Over the Rockies
The final night out celebration took place at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in Denver. The museum, located in Hangar #1 of the former Lowry Air Force Base houses aircraft, space vehicles, artifacts, military uniforms and more.

About 1,500 attendees showed up in Denver, Nov. 18-21, for Ingram Micro One 2019. The conference is a chance for Ingram Micro channel partners to meet, network and exchange information with one another as well as Ingram Micro and its vendor partners.
The keynote stage featured Ingram Micro top brass, including Paul Bay, executive vice president and group president of the Americas, who talked about creating sustainable value; Bill Brandel, chief country executive – Canada, who talked about using strengths to manage change; and Kirk Robinson, senior vice president and chief country executive U.S. whose keynote topic was “Imagine your Next Move.”
Partners were also given time to explore the Solutions Showcase and have one-on-one meetings with customers and vendors, and attend technology, sales and marketing tracks.
