Telarus co-founder and CEO Adam Edwards formally kicked off the event on Wednesday morning following some networking on Tuesday night.
Edwards touted some solid sales growth by partners, highlighted by gains in UCaaS, CCaaS, mobility/IoT, security sales and more.

Motivational speaker Alison Levine regaled the audience with her stories of traversing Mt. Everest. She made it to the peak several years ago.
Of course, there was a business connection between taking a risk and achieving your full potential.
A twist on the classic game show had the Telarus C-suite competing against one another to answer questions about some of their top suppliers.
The vendors got a chance to follow up the (mostly) correct answers with some additional information about their companies and products.

Momentum Telecom earlier this year acquired Altus Technology, a Tennessee-based provider of cloud-based unified communications solutions. The company says the move expands its reach in cloud, collaboration and managed network.
The company also joined Sandler Partners’ roster of suppliers.
Mojenta, the channel marketing agency,led by founder and CEO Angela Leavitt (right), makes one of its first major appearances since rebranding from Mojo Marketing earlier this year.
You could find new LiveVox‘s new area VP of channels and alliances, Dan DeLozier, manning the company’s booth.

Fuze followed that up with results of a survey showing workers increasingly not just want, but expect, flexible work models.

Veracity Networks is a fiber-based and cloud communications provider that specializes in carrier-grade phone systems, unified communications, call center functionality and more.
FirstDigital Telecom just last week completed its acquisition of Veracity Networks, whose headquarters are in Lindon, Utah.
A channel staple at events such as this, Verizon this spring struck a strategic partnership with RingCentral.
The new “RingCentral with Verizon offer provides collaboration across multiple devices, while giving customers a single point of contact. The team-up brings together the strength of RingCentral (UCaaS) with that of Verizon (network).

Satellite internet provider Viasat made headlines this spring when it announced the latest milestone in development of tbe first satellite in its ViaSat-3 global constellation.
Payload integration and performance testing are complete. The company said the satellite had ben shipped to the Boeing Satellite Systems facility in El Segundo, California.
It’s been a busy year at Everbridge, the critical event management solution provider.
Most recently, the company announced a new partnership with Telarus. It gives Telarus’ network of more than 4,000 partners access to sell the full suite of Everbridge products.
Dialpad‘s latest big news is the debut of Dialpad Channels and Dialpad Meetings. The products aim to give partners a unified communications solution they can deliver to customers.

Six-year-old Israeli vendor Cato Networks, which bills itself as a converged SASE provider, this spring updated its partner program to better support MSPs.
Dine-arounds are Telarus Partner Summit traditions. Partner attendees broke off into groups to have dinner hosted by various suppliers.
Here, cable companies Comcast, Altice, Cox and Spectrum welcome partners to the San Diego Zoo, where they got some interactions with a sloth, opossum, owl and more.
Telarus chief revenue officer Dan Foster touted the personnel and partner support the company has added in the past year.
On the technology side, he pointed to how UCaaS, CCaaS, cloud, mobility/IoT and security are leading to the exponential growth of partners’ businesses (and Telarus’).
Three of the largest deals done by Telarus partners in the past year had a mobility component. Also of note, two-thirds of the potential UCaaS market remains untapped.
Telarus co-founder and chief product officer Patrick Oborn extolled the virtues of Telarus University, an on-demand learning management system. The platform brings together technology certification, best practices and supplier education.
Its goal is to help partners better understand technology and how to sell it. Available 24/7, Telarus University aims to give the company’s partners what they need to increase their sales confidence.

Telarus COO and co-owner Richard Murray described the charitable efforts the company is making associated with the event.
Working with Telecom for Change, Telarus raised money for The Younique Foundation, a nonprofit that inspires hope in women who were sexually abused as children or adolescents.
Attendees got to hear from a panel of Telarus suppliers who weighed in on the latest in technology and how they expect it to change partners’ businesses.

The important diversity and inclusion conversation took its spot on the main stage. Panelists discussed the current D&I landscape in the channel, advice for starting D&I conversations in the workplace, and more.
Despite many meetings to be had, attendees packed the ballroom for most of the keynote sessions.
Brandon Knight, VP of business development, CCaaS, at Telarus, interviewed Anand Janefalkar, founder and CEO of UJET, the cloud contact center software provider, on the main stage.
The pair discussed the evolution of the contact center about the various technologies and trends that are leading to a much improved customer experience — if done right.
The audience got “Insights from a CIO” when Telarus AVP Mike Bettilyon (right) sat down with Michael Peterson.
Peterson, former chief information officer and security leader for CHG Healthcare, helped partners get inside the mind of the CIO and other executives who are making decisions about technology purchases.
It was a full house for Telarus awards night. The services distributor handed out hardware to some of the biggest vendors in the business, as well as their top-performing partners.
On the supplier side, Lumen, RingCentral, AT&T and Comcast were among the big winners.
Last Mile Strategies claimed the position as No. 1 partner.

They came for company news, the education and the awards ceremony. But most of all, attendees at the Telarus Partner Summit, July 27-30, were there for the networking.
Most likely the largest live, in-person channel event since the start of the pandemic, it drew nearly 1,000 attendees to San Diego. About half were partners. All were excited to do business, dine and get caught up after so long apart.
Telarus reports an attendance jump of 15% from its 2019 Partner Summit in Aurora, Colorado.
