INGRAM MICRO ONE — With Monday’s introduction of the RenewVue portal, Ingram Micro wants to help partners by streamlining the licensing process. The distributor’s announcement comes in the midst of Ingram Micro One, being held this week in Washington, D.C.
The online RenewVue portal works with Ingram Micro’s existing licensing locator self-service tool, further expanding the self-service online environment for U.S. partners. The existing licensing locator is designed to provide partners with information about the status of their software licensing orders.
“In today’s highly competitive marketplace, it is often the collective impact of small efficiencies and access to actionable data that sets a business apart,” said Lynne Thornton, executive director, sales at Ingram Micro. “We’re pleased to introduce our new licensing tool – RenewVue – and help our partners shorten the sales cycle and provide more data and road maps for customers to better execute business transactions on a tight budget.”

At kickoff, 60 vendors are supported in the RenewVue portal, with additional vendor support coming.
The new portal provides channel partners access to data and resources to help drive sales. Examples of what the portal delivers:
Flexible reports from nearly every angle — end user, vendor, custom time frame and more.
360-degree views of upcoming renewal opportunities to ensure channel partners capture all available business.
The ability to have Ingram Micro position upcoming renewals directly to a customer on the channel partner’s behalf.
A license locator for an end-to-end view of orders, including process status, reprints, requests, license history and sales reporting.
Ahead of the distributor’s One event, the vendor also announced the general availability of the Ingram Micro Business Transformation Center and the transformation of its Components business unit into a new group called Integrated Solutions.
