Tech distributor Ingram Micro has expanded its relationship with SAP America, the enterprise application software provider.

Ingram will now provide analytics, database and enterprise mobility offerings from SAP to its U.S. channel partners. The company also will distribute the SAP HANA platform, helping partners to drive rapid innovation with accelerated analytics, business processes, data processing and predictive capabilities. Ingram Micro also has added to its solutions portfolio the SAP Lumira software.

“Ingram Micro has already established a strong working relationship with SAP and we are excited to replicate and build on that success within our Advanced Computing Division and expand the reach and business value of additional SAP solutions within the IT channel,” says Scott Zahl, vice president and general manager, Ingram Micro Advanced Computing Division, U.S.

Micro’s Advanced Computing Division will provide partners with resources that include business development, pre-sales technical support, field technical consulting, transactional support and tools designed to help accelerate the profitable growth of their enterprise software businesses.

Ingram says that SAP software- and data-focused channel partners can leverage its sales, market development, marketing and technical teams to broaden their capabilities in the fastest developing vertical and horizontal markets. Ingram Micro’s Advanced Computing Division offers a comprehensive solutions portfolio, which includes technology from vendors like HP, whose HP ConvergedSystem for SAP HANA is just one of several purpose-built solutions for the in-memory computing platform.

Ingram Micro and SAP first entered into a distribution agreement in November 2013 to expand the developer’s reach into the small and midsize business segment.
