IR, a performance management software provider, has launched the company’s first official global channel partner program to provide its partner ecosystem with a standard set of benefits.
The company, which provides software for IT infrastructure, payments and communications ecosystems, already has am established partner ecosystem, but until now the company had yet to categorize resellers into a standard tier system, like many of its peers.
“It is important for us to formally recognize our channel partners through an official IR Partner Program,” said Darc Rasmussen, CEO of IR, in a statement. “The new program was created to provide our partners with the flexibility to align with customer requirements, buying preferences, routes to market and business models, enabling them to grow their business with IR.”
The program, which will be rolled out in phases over the next six months, is framed similarly to many other partner programs, with a three-tier model consisting of Authorized, Gold and Platinum partners. IR said it will also provide support and resources to alliance partners, service providers and distribution partners, with an emphasis on supporting ecosystems working to implement industrywide issues such as the rollout of Microsoft Skype for Business.
“Following extensive research and review with our partner community, we believe we have a best-of-breed program and we look forward to bringing new partners on board,” said Mona Lolas, IT Global Partner Program manager. “We will continue to work with our partners to implement best practices and evolve our strategies and teams to enable mutual long-term success.”
