MSP Summit Hero Size

For many in the C-suite or those with aspirations to become senior leaders, their mettle is being put to the ultimate test. While many channel companies scrambled and thrived during the pandemic, leaders barely had a moment to catch their breath as the pandemic subsided and we entered what many called a new normal. Needless to say, we are in anything resembling normality; it’s a new reality marked by global inflation, rising interest rates, stock market tumult, tech layoffs, a war in the Ukraine, supply chain constraints and customer sentiment that’s growing increasingly cautious — if not downright negative.

With that backdrop in mind, the Informa Tech Channels organization felt it was time to form a true channel leadership summit unlike anything else in the market. The Channel Futures MSP Summit, Sept. 14-15 in Orlando, Florida, will feature our first Channel Partners Leadership Summit, a unique opportunity for the entire channel to share in strategic conversations designed for the leaders of today and tomorrow. There won’t be any talking heads reading bullet points from PowerPoint slides, but true conversations among channel partners who have come to share best practices.

This event will enable attendees to take all the lessons learned over the past two years and use them to develop the skills needed to manage through all of this uncertainty and beyond. That’s why its theme is “The Future of You.”

Peer Interaction and Expert Advice

To accomplish the lofty goal of elevating leaders, our content is designed with takeaways to accelerate high-performance managerial skills and capabilities through peer interaction and expert advice. This should help all attendees generate new ways of fueling top-line growth, address the tight labor market, bolster profits and inspire teams and co-workers to out-innovate the competition. Most importantly, this gathering is being designed to help channel partners better serve their customers.

The Channel Partners Leadership Summit will connect the strategic leaders of today’s communications channel — those who are direct-selling agents and technology advisors — with the managed service providers. Attendees will have an opportunity to better understand the programs, products and services provided by vendors, technology services distributors and communications suppliers.

We will also be debuting a Women’s Leadership Summit being presented in partnership with the Alliance of Channel Women. This women’s leadership track is being developed with the participation of ACW’s Cassie Jeppson and Jasmina Muller.

There will be content tailored for attendees’ specific needs, delivered in focused tracks, as well as keynotes of interest to all.  There are several important facets to the event content, but two stand out above all others. The first is the evolution of leading a channel partner organization forward. The second is the race to recurring revenue. Everyone in the channel is coping with massive changes in managing teams and working in an ecosystem. If you don’t keep up with the skills required to lead next-generation workers and connect with customers in new and innovative ways you will be left behind. The same is true in the quest for recurring revenue, whether your business model is telecom agent or MSP. We are truly in a race.

MSP 501 Gala and More

Key to the MSP Summit is the Channel Futures MSP 501 gala where we will honor this year’s most influential and important MSPs. The ceremony will include the presentation of special awards for MSPs of the Year, Executives of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Digital Innovator among others. It will be a very special evening for this year’s MSP 501 inductees.
