Jenne Inc, the value-added distributor (VAD) focused on unified communications (UC), has signed a distributed agreement with Mutare, expanding Jenne Inc’s vendor portfolio yet again. Jenne Inc. is looking to Mutare for unique speech-to-text UC solutions for small, midsize and large businesses. Read on for the rundown on the new UC relationship…

What is Mutare bringing to the Jenne Inc. distribution table? It’s called “giSTT,” a speech-to-text solution that can take traditional voicemail and turn it into bite-sized text-bytes. Mutare says that giSTT will streamline and unify existing unified communications deployments by taking all the voice information away from a user’s ear and displaying it for the user’s eye, turning voicemail into a text message, instant message, or e-mail.

Jenne Inc. sees Mutare’s giSTT as a “perfect complement” to any existing UC deployment, or more importantly, any VAR’s UC portfolio. Mutare built giSTT to live in the UC world as an add-on, installable on virtually any server, making it easy to setup, deploy and most importantly, sell.

Jenne Inc. has also promised reseller training on giSTT, which will also help partners focus on where giSTT can be most helpful. Mutare has been looking for a big more exposure, so inking a deal with Jenne Inc. should help the vendor expand and reach new business in the channel.

Meanwhile, be sure to check out Jenne Inc.’s other UC moves for their partners, including the LifeSize Partner Solution Design Portal and UC accessory partnership with Logitec.
