Kony’s Michael Johnson
A 20-year channel and alliances veteran, Johnson will lead the development and expansion of Kony’s channel relationships. He will play a key role in fortifying Kony’s partnerships with its global channel partners and alliances, and will “empower them to capitalize on the fast-growing enterprise mobility and digital application market,” the company said.
“As businesses across multiple industries – from banking, retail and health care to energy and utilities – identify digital innovation and applications as a top priority, channel partners are setting their sights on capitalizing on this opportunity,” he said. “The key to winning is partnering with a leader, and I’m excited to join Kony, the undisputed leader in enterprise mobility.”
As vice president of Lexmark’s worldwide channels and OEM, Johnson was responsible for driving growth through Lexmark’s partner community and OEM partners. During his tenure at Lexmark, he held a variety of leadership positions, including vice president of North America channel, sales director, district manager and national account manager.
“Michael is an extremely well-respected channel and alliances leader and we are excited to have him join our team,” said Bruce Dahlgren, Kony’s chief revenue officer. “He will play a critical role in rethinking Kony’s channel strategy to better align with the success the company has achieved as an enterprise applications and mobile app development platform leader.”
Last week, Kony said it is expanding partnering opportunities with financial technology services featured in the Kony Digital Banking Marketplace.
