Businesses can use Lifesize Cloud to host video meetings that are accessible via laptops and Android or iOS smartphones and tablets, and the service could help Lifesize extend its reach in the video conferencing services market as well.
Craig Malloy, Lifesize’s CEO, said “the demand for cloud-based video communications is exploding,” which is reflected by the demand for Lifesize Cloud.
Lifesize launched its Lifesize Cloud video conferencing service in May; today, more than 1,000 companies have subscribed to the service.
Also, a Global Industry Analysts (GIA) report that was released last month revealed cloud-based video conferencing services are becoming more popular worldwide, and the market for these services could be worth $2.9 billion by 2020.
