Martin Dawes Launches Convergent Prepaid/Postpaid Solution
February 28, 2007
Martin Dawes Systems, an independent BSS software and services provider, has launched its Convergent Prepaid/Postpaid solution (CPP).
CPP converges prepaid and postpaid billing into a single CRM system, enabling operators to use one billing and CRM system for both customer groups, the company said. Operators can introduce new advanced features using the existing prepaid platform integrated into the new CPP solution. CPP is fully integrated with dise3G, Martin Dawes billing and CRM solution.
CPP allows for innovative tariffs exploiting both payment methods, such as prepaid international roaming on a postpaid subscription or prepaid personal calls on a postpaid business subscription. The solution also enables operators, service providers and MVNOs to launch products to prepay customers as well as a post-pay base.
Prepaid and postpaid [services] need to be viewed as a payment option rather than a customer segment and our CPP solution enables this, allowing service providers to mix-and-match services and payment options according to the demands of their customers, said Tony Wilson, COO of Martin Dawes.
