Masergy is launching a new cloud-based communications service through its Broadcore subisidiary, and the company is looking to the channel to take the new offering to market. Broadcore Connect was designed to be a channel-focused solution for the midmarket.
The new offering promises enterprise-grade voice, video, messaging, conferencing and mobility solutions with bundled connectivity options and standard integration to midmarket companies with between 50 and 500 users. According to Masergy, the new cloud communications offering complements the existing Masergy Global Cloud Communications offering that is already sold through Masergy's channel partners.
"Broadcore Connect empowers partners with a midmarket solution that includes bundled network services, self-automated quoting portal tools, competitive partner compensation and enterprise-grade features—thus opening the door to greater sales opportunities and success," said Chris MacFarland, CEO of Masergy, in a prepared statement. "The solution combines the power of the Masergy network with fully integrated cloud communications solutions from Broadcore to form a superior offering for today’s midmarket companies."
According to the company, the new Broadcore Connect offering was designed for companies that want to transform their traditional voice systems into strategic business tools. Additionally, it's meant to simplify the migration path from legacy PBX voice systems to a cloud-based unified communications environment with a combination of hosted unified communications, intelligent SIP trunking and hybrid cloud.
Customers—and partners—are being options to pair Broadcore Connect with a fully integrated bundle of Masergy network offerings. They can also use a third-party broadband provider. Broadcore Connect also offers customers lifetime warranties on hardware, in addition to lifetime training and support.
