McAfee Expands MSP Program With $90k Tesla Prize Incentive
McAfee (MFE) recently expanded its Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program to include Next Generation Firewall and is offering a Tesla (TSLA) prize package worth $90,000 to encourage its partners to sell this solution.
Looking to win the ultimate partner incentive? McAfee (MFE) is offering partners a chance to win a Tesla (TSLA) Model S prize package worth $90,000 to encourage them to sell Next Generation Firewall, its VMware-ready (VMW-ready) virtual security appliance.
“In the simplest terms, the more McAfee Next Generation Firewall a partner sells, the more opportunities they have to win. And this isn’t just on-premise resell – this incentive also includes our Next Generation Firewall managed services offering,” Lang Tibbils, McAfee’s senior director of worldwide channels marketing, told MSPmentor.
According to McAfee, Next Generation Firewall integrates application control, an intrusion prevention system (IPS) and evasion prevention into a single solution. In addition, the company claims Next Generation Firewall is “the only next-generation firewall solution to unite anti-evasion security with enterprise-scale availability and manageability.”
Tibbils said McAfee’s Tesla promotion is one of several ways it is encouraging its partners to sell Next Generation Firewall. McAfee is offering continuing education credits for Next Generation Firewall enablement and training and McAfee rebates, and has even created a demand generation kit for partners as well as a requirement kit for distributors.
“We know that switching to a new vendor can be tough and thus wanted to reward partners that accelerate their migration to McAfee Next Generation Firewall technology,” Tibbils added.
Here’s how the Tesla promotion works for McAfee partners:
Sales engineers and sales representatives who close a McAfee Next Generation Firewall deal will earn McAfee Rewards points and one grand prize entry each per closed deal.
All activities from January 1 to September 24, 2014 are included.
The Tesla winner will be announced October 27 at McAfee’s partner summit in Las Vegas.
Sales engineers and sales representatives also can win $500 monthly prizes, and the company said it will announce these winners on its monthly channel briefing calls.
McAfee’s MSP Program is designed to support midsize- and enterprise-class customers that want to leverage managed services to improve their network security, the company said. Full details about McAfee’s MSP Program are available here.
