Jones: I was a bagboy at Foodtown Grocery for four years – I learned more about people than at any other job I've had.
The VAR Guy says: That's the crazy thing about first jobs- they may not pay well, but you sure do learn a lot, and fast.
Jones: A Gulfstream G500 – it gets you where you're going a lot faster.
The VAR Guy says: This is probably one of the most unique picks we've seen so far! From the looks of it, you seem like a person who is very used to long trips.
Jones: Rome with my family. I love to travel and experience the world.
The VAR Guy says: Ah, Rome. The culture, the people and the delicious gelato make this one location that's bound to be a good time.
Jones: "Where the Wild Things Are." Its a must-read for any kid (or kid at heart).
The VAR Guy says: Maurice Sendak's 1963 children's book is widely acclaimed as one of the best picture books ever written, and has been adapted into both a 1980 opera as well as a 2009 movie. To date, the book has sold more than 19 million copies worldwide.
Jones: My kids' school tuition
The VAR Guy says: Yikes! Hopefully next time you'll be able to splurge on something a little more fun!
Jones: Duke University Basketball
The VAR Guy says: Go Blue Devils! While we don't watch basketball regularly, we do know that Duke has a pretty good athletics department.
Jones: President Americas Sales and Global Partner Organization for Polycom. Or an Astronaut.
The VAR Guy says: We're so happy you were able to live our your childhood dream! In all seriousness though, there's still time to be an astronaut. Or you can just wait for commercial space flight to become available, which hopefully shouldn't be too long.
Jones: "Caddyshack," because I am into emotionally charged, thought provoking, Academy award-winning cinema.
The VAR Guy says: There's nothing wrong with a little Bill Murray to brighten up your day! We still think "Caddyshack" should have won an Oscar.

This week we sat down to chat with Chris Jones, president of Americas Sales and Global Partners at Polycom, an enterprise collaboration solution developer, to learn about the man behind the company's channel efforts.
Jones, who was named channel chief in August, is responsible for leading Polycom's regional sales strategy and in improving overall customer success and growth for the company and its partners. Prior to joining Polycom, Jones served as vice president of Midmarket Sales at Avaya, and has also worked in a variety of executive roles at companies including Juniper Networks, Cisco Systems and Proxim.
