McCollough: Selling pretzels as the Astrodome.
The VAR Guy says: We definitely would have been friends had we known you back in your pretzel salesman days. There's nothing better than a hot pretzel and a beer when you're watching a game.
McCollough: BMW M6
The VAR Guy says: With more than 560 HP, you'll never have to worry about getting to work on time with one of these.
McCollough: France
The VAR Guy says: Ooh la la! We hope you got to try some of France's famous cuisine as well as its renowned wines while you were there! Bon Appetit!
McCollough: "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu
The VAR Guy says: There's a reason this book is the most famous strategic guide in the world—legendary general Sun Tzu's simple but powerful guides to winning are often just as effective in the 21st century boardroom as they were on the battlefield.
McCollough: Nike Basketball shoes. I didn't need them but thought they were too cool to pass up!
The VAR Guy says: That's what makes this such a great splurge purchase! We say if they make you happy, then maybe you did need them after all.
McCollough: "Game of Thrones"
The VAR Guy says: Another show that we're woefully behind on. No spoilers, please!
McCollough: I wanted to be a professional baseball player.
The VAR Guy says: That would have been a pretty cool job! The only position The VAR Guy would be suited for would be the outfield. And by outfield, we mean out in the parking lot.
McCollough: "Braveheart." I love history and I always root for the underdog.
The VAR Guy says: Freeeedom!! When it comes to underdog stories, it doesn't get much better than "Braveheart." We still paint our faces blue sometimes just for the heck of it.
